daily kos to start a campaign to draft mitt romney to run for that seat. quote, with brown out in massachusetts, we must draft mitt romney for u.s. senate. draft mitt. no deferments this time. then much to the surprise and delight of the already delighted folks at daily kos, then came reports that not mitt, but some other romney was seriously considering running. the news came from "the boston herald," which claimed to have learned that tagg romney was considering running for seat now that scott brown had opted out. and that was on top of "the herald's" weekend reporting that they were urging tagg to run for senate. maybe he was just the wrong romney. republicans in massachusetts just itching to get a romney, some romney, any romney back on the ballot this year. 23 points. but almost as quickly as the ann or tagg romney excitement had built up, it started to crumble. and by this afternoon, tagg romney announced himself in complete sentences with full actual words that he is not going to run for that seat. and i don't think ann romney is going to run either. and that leaves massach

spent millions of dollars on behalf of mitt romney and fueled the super pacs. what they think the party needs to do to sort of rebuild after the november election and then there is the tea party wing of the party, the sort of grassroots activists who tend to be more conservative and more ideological and frankly less practical. their motivated more by ideology and on the other side by winning. those two goals do not always collide or not always unite, i should say. so as we saw house majority boehner speaking, he is speaking from the establishment point of view. let's be more pragmatic. and he talked about immigration reform. is there one lesson that republicans have learned we got to do something different with hispanic voters. we got to reach out. republicans are not united in how far they're willing to go. senate leaders have talked about a much more sweeping immigration plan than what representative cantor mentioned. he is willing to go so far with the kids as he talked about kids who were brought to this country illegally. >> one of the big questions is whether the n.r.a. is g
